Reunited... on the run.

Once on the main road, we continued to the rendevous point. We chose a public place to avoid being ambushed or overtly watched. The Jefferson Memorial served this purpose. The majesty of once again being in the heart of DC made me remember the old days as I waited for my rescuers to arrive. Blindman and I had a few moments to rethink our plans.
At the steps facing the water, we watched as two figures approached. One I knew by the gait, TacX and the other had a familiar look, but I could not place the face... middle-eastern ? We exchanged pleasantries, I gave TacX a bear hug and the second figure's Identity was revealed...
Al Jambu Who.. or code name: 008. He was a third generation Baggai Royal Guardsman and TacX told me he was the Prince's personal bodyguard, sent to assist.
Well, the story unfolded as we sat and listened. TacX explained how ELF, working as double agent for the insurgency, was prompting the overthrow of the royal prince. ELF was there when the rescue mission was launched, but managed to escape and returned to Washington... waiting for his chance to capture me and Blindman, plant a conspiracy theory on me and use Blindman to forward his treasonous plot.
TacX had done his homework. Prior to the rescue, he had assembled a safehouse on the outskirts of DC. There he had compiled as much information about ELF and any co-conspirators as he could; remembering that he had already been disavowed. TacX had uncovered more of the plot, that pointed to an attempt on derailing the peace accord that was going to be signed between the US and Nearreastchia [a province of mother Russia, separated after the Soviet breakdown]. This peace accord was in both the interests of Baggai and the US, but certain terror groups and state sponsored terrorists did not want the accord to go forward. Nearreastia held a secret cache of nuclear weapons, long thought to be buried destroyed and buried in the Ecky Mountains. ELF and his mercenary associates had made a deal in the tens of billions to the terror groups to retrieve and sell the nuclear weapons.
ELF knew that if the US signed the peace accord with Nearreastchia, he would never be able to retrieve the weapons out of that country.
TacX and 008 knew that ELF was planning a high profile assassination, but the target was not known. It appeared that was our mission: to stay out of the hands of the CIA, discover the target and stop ELFs plan before it was too late.

With only 7 days until the signing of the treaty.... there was no time to waste.....

New Enemies and Old Friends....

The fire alarm sounded...... and the place burned to the ground.... THE END !!!!

Just kidding,

The cell went dark, the fire alarms were blaring, but somehow, within minutes I heard someone calling my name. There, coming through the dark was a light. What tipped me off that it may be a 'covert' was that the light was RED instead of your standard 'flashlight white' [SPEC OPS note: red lights are used in the dark instead of white lights because it saves your night vision and is harder for the enemy to see from a distance].
Blindman and I waited patiently for the voice to come closer. We heard a lot of loud yelling and orders back n' forth among the Virginia Farm Boys [CIA]. Then those voices lingered, moving on, thinking we were locked up and could not go anywhere. But the familiar voice got closer. Two figures appeared in the slightly lit background of the emergency exit lighting down the hall. Then a familiar friendly voice called out 'TacMan' ?? [My nickname from the 'good ole days']. The figures were clothed in firefighting gear that included the standard issue Scotts AV-4000 SCBA [Self-Contained Breathing Apparatus]. It appeared that the plastic shield of the mask was almost a two way mirror, hiding the identity of the wearers.

The voice gave one of them away. It was TacX [code name; due to the sensitivity of his prior missions, and his 'disavowment' with SPEC OPS, his real name cannot be revealed]. Advising Blindman that they were 'friendlies', he acknowledged and suddenly the 'cell' door was open.

The plan was that once we were free from the cell, the two 'friends' would continue with their cover mission [firefighters called to the Langley building for the 'smoke in the building'], and we would escape using Blindman's power, and meet at the pre-determined rally point. So far, so good.....

But as we made our way out, I passed a computer screen in the interrogation room. On the screen was an outline of orders on how to proceed with the interrogation on us. The reason of the interrogation was clear[co-conspirators against the US government directly from the office of counter intelligence], but of particular notice was the 'senders' code name: 'ELF'.

This name rang in my mind. I paused in disbelief. But continued moving to the exit. We made it to the outside, stole the nearest POV [Personal Off-duty Vehicle] and made our way to the rally point. Blindman could sense the tension in my silence... he asked what I saw and I simply stated 'We cannot trust anyone. The name on the order for our interrogation and detention is from ELF or Ex-Likeable Friend'.

I stayed silent for the entire ride, only pondering to myself why and how this old friend, turned enemy, turned Chief Counter Intelligence Officer, could still be alive.....

The game is afoot......

The disavowed....

Well, things at Langley did not go as planned. The government believed I had given up information about the secret weapon... Blindman. After the debriefing I was placed in the same 'room' as Blindman [actually a cell] until they could figure out what to do with us.
We realized that things were not going our way and decided we needed to get out on our own and search for whoever was giving up the information to the enemy.
As fate would have it, the GPS in my tooth had not been removed yet. I managed to reconfigure the electronic transmitting module thing-a-ma-jiggy to send a message. I needed to contact someone who knows how to get in and out of Langely unnoticed, believed me, and had an ax to grind with the government.....
About two days later, at about 1100 hours, the fire alarm went off........

Back from the brink.....

Since the last mission, things went awry. After the blackhawk took off from the LZ with the crown prince and rest of the spec ops unit, I was surrounded by the enemy; the same terrorist faction trying to cause a coup and responsible for the attempted kidnapping of the crown prince. I spent several months languishing in a POW camp. Much like my counterpart, Jack Bauer, I was tortured in an attempt to give up intelligence on the latest superhero, BLINDMAN. Lucky for me I knew nothing about him, except that he is a product of the second potion experiment.
The government did not forget about me. My GPS tracking filling in my mouth pinpointed my location by satellite. It took months to track it because every time they cranked up the microwave across the hall from my cell, the transmission broke [and they sure liked their 'hot pockets !!!' sung].
The only one who could get in to break me from the prison was BLINDMAN himself. His secret power, when he covers his eyes, NO ONE CAN SEE HIM. He can also cover my eyes and the same power is transferred to me. It made for interesting flying when we stole a MIG from the terrorist encampment.
We made it back to Langley and I am currently being debriefed. The psychiatrist says there is no permanent damage. The worst part of the ordeal was the radiation I absorbed from the transmitter in my mouth and the unfulilled desire for HOT POCKETS [sung].

Merry Christmas.....

Eternal Vigilance: the mission never ends...

The government, specifically the Special Operations Unit, is extremely pleased with the results gained from your last potion. We even labelled it 'CP1' [Cheech Potion One]. Commanders in the field have reported great gains in the GWOT thanks to the potion. Although, the price was pretty high. Next time we will be asking to shop at 'Family Dollar' instead of 'Gucci'.

Keep up the good work... and remember.. our operatives need to keep the edge over the bad guys.

Mission accomplished...

The potion has been obtained and delivered to the proper authorities within the government special operations division. The latest word is that it is being deployed in Iraq, Afghanistan and Timbuktu. The mission went off without a hitch, with the single exception of an early delivery of the 'directions envelope'. But that was due to an inexperienced operativess [female, no comment]. Training and experience will help. Thankfully the rest of the unit improvised.

Until the next phase....

The drop..

Since the deadline passed, I can only assume that you are keeping OpSec and watching your comms. That is good news. WE are flying into the New Boston Air Force Station sometime overnight to an undisclosed LZ [landing zone] in a prototype stealth BlackHawk. We have decided that the public event taking place there @ 1030 hours in the form of a Church picnic is the best cover for the DROP. The security provided by the base will compliment our own operatives.
It is time to unveil the members who will be at the DROP: TacCom [me], a German Special Ops GSG-9 counter-sniper [high ground cover/ surveillance], and an MI5 British undercover intelligence officer.
There will be one added operative, but SHE is not privy to the overall situation. SHE will only be passing along information to you directly. I would not waste time trying to extract information from her, again, she knows nothing.
WE will have an envelope containing the wired transfer confirmation # in your name for the amount of $758,220,700,000.00. Cash would be too obvious and too much to carry [you would need a BIG wheelbarrow].
The contact person will find you @ 1230 hours..... The rest of the instructions will be provided.

Please respond with a WE-NO-C-UMM as confirmation that you agree to these terms.

Remember, WE are watching

Black Ops Deal in the making

If this deal goes through it could change the balance of the world powers and the GWOT [Global War on Terrorism].

The formula for invisible-ness will allow military and government operatives to gain access to secret, well-secured sites and follow the direct orders of POTUS [President of the United States]. Assassinations may also be in the mix; We cannot confirm nor deny if that order exists.

Of course, If my identity is discovered and the NOC [Non-Official Coverts] list gets out in the open.... I will be the hunted instead of the hunter or the Gazelle instead of the LION.

Bacation...

Getting ready to take the VIP family on a Bacation ['vacation' to anyone over 4 years old]. We are going deep, deep, deep undercover in the north country to stay hidden in the WPP [Witness Protection Program] pending the trial and see some Moose.

We will have comms silence until Thursday @ 1800 hours. Standard OpSec applies. Use of a SCPH [Secure Phone ie - Encrypted Satellite Hook-up].
